Betty Crabbs Eastman's Obituary
Betty Crabbs Eastman, 86, died June 19, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutch- inson.
She was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Oil Hill, to Wilbur and Mary Flora Elliott. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.
On April 10, 1940, she married John M. Crabbs in Arlington. He died May 10, 1968. On Oct. 10, 1971, she married Byron A. Eastman in South Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, John Crabbs, Port Arthur, Texas, Wayne Crabbs, Los Gatos, Calif., Eddie Crabbs and wife Italia, Hutchinson, and Galen Crabbs and wife Barbara, Sterling; a daughter, Joann Martin and husband Paul, Hutchinson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wes and Ken Elliott, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday June 22, 2009, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Ault-Duell presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Mennonite Manor in care of the mortuary.
