LANGDON - Betty J. Greer, 86, died Oct. 24, 2009, at Golden Years Living Center, Hutchinson.
She was born March 20, 1923, in rural Langdon, to Claude William and Tulula Belle Raines Greer.
She graduated from Langdon High School in 1942. A resident of Hutchinson, formerly of Langdon, she was a farmer, stockman, and cattle buyer.
She belonged to the former Langdon Christian Church.
Survivors include: a sister-in-law, Gloria Greer, Denver; a nephew, Mark Greer, New York; and a niece, Celia Gause, Denver. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Ralph Greer who died in January 2009.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 28, 2009, in Langdon Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Gill presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Golden Years Living Center, in care of the mortuary.
