Betty June Ford, 80, died November 14, 2012, in Denver, Co. She was born February 5, 1932, in Hutchinson, to Duffy and Melisse (Devena) Osborn. On November 9, 1951, she married Lloyd Ford in Hutchinson. He died September 16, 1976.

A lifelong Hutchinson resident, she was retired from Dillon Corporate Office. Betty volunteered for numerous organizations in Hutchinson and at Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: four sons, Rusty and wife Tina Ford, Valley Center, Bryan and wife Sammi Ford, Hutchinson, Dave and wife Leslie Ford, Manhattan, and Ron and wife Susan Ford, Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Margi and husband Dave Schiefelbein, Denver, Co; sister-in-law, Kay Osborn, Wichita; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Osborn and a grandson, Shane Schoenhoff.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard Brooks and the Reverend Jane Siebert officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
