Betty Ann Moss' Obituary
Betty Moss died June 14, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born April 8, 1933, in Russell, the daughter of Henry and Theresa Ehrlich Bender.
She moved to Hutchinson to attend nurses' training and worked as a nurse's aide. She worked many years at Doskocil as food service manager.
On July 7, 1952, she married George Moss in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: sons, David Moss and wife, Tammy, Moore, Okla.; Tim Moss and wife, Keri Cox; Kent Moss and Kevin Moss; daughters, Teresa Long, Kathy King and husband, Rick; Georgann Jennings; Barb Helms and husband, Pat, all of Hutchinson; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bridges, Salina, two sisters-in-law; Marceline Bender, Russell; and Penny Bender, Yuma, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Henry, Chet, and Fritz Bender; and sister, Dorothy Reuber.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday June 18, 2010, at First United Methodist Church. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church or charity of donor's choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
