Beulah M. Arnold, 92, died April 18, 2008, at Hester Care Center at Wesley Towers.
She was born April 21, 1915, in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Arthur David and Matilda Ann Wade Woodcock. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1933, and Kansas State University in 1938. She had been a resident of Hutchinson since 2001, moving here from Topeka. She was a retired State of Kansas social worker, having worked in Jefferson and Brown Counties.
She was a 4-H Leader, and member of the Manhattan High School and KSU Alumni Associations.
On Aug. 1, 1938, she married Ralph W. Arnold in Kansas City, Mo. He died March 30, 2000.
Survivors include: sons, Rolland Arnold and his wife, Jean, of Tucson, AZ., and Roger Arnold of New Orleans, LA.; daughters, Donna Bodine and husband Kerry of DeSoto, KS, Dianne Coons and husband Ed of Hutchinson, and Dee Sellner and husband, Ron of Portland, OR.; daughter-in-law, Patti Arnold of Hutchinson, KS; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Moshier.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wesley Towers Conference Room, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Penwell Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, or the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers, in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
