Beulah E. Theis, 89, died June 12, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove, Ind.
She was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Satanta, the daughter of John and Nora Kimball Stohr. A resident of Hutchinson since 1944, she was a retired insurance clerk for McGuire Insurance Agency.
She belonged to St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson.
On Feb. 12, 1942, she married John N. Theis in Dodge City. He died June 17, 1965.
Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Dixon, Greenwood, Ind., and Kathy Jones, Rochester, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Stuart M. Smeltzer presiding. The family will greet friends at 6:30 p.m. Thursday prior to the rosary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the church, in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
