Obituary

Beverly Mae Miller was born in Oklahoma City on August 23, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2024 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She lived as a child in Logan, Kansas and later Larned, Kansas, before moving to Hutchinson, Kansas, where she lived the majority of her adult life. Beverly was known for her hard work, always accompanied by her loving husband, the late Robert "Bob" Miller. Together they had many business interests including The Wharf Club Supper Club, Miller Excavating and M and M Bonding. They also served many years as foster parents to over 50 children.

Beverly is survived by her four children and their spouses: Tammy Dillon and husband, Brad Dillon, Paula Nayfa and husband, Terry Nayfa, Jimmy Miller, and Jason Miller and his wife, Jodi Miller. Also by grandchildren Haley Strebler and husband Marc Strebler, Jennifer Weber, Austin O'Neal and wife Sara Diaz de Villegas, Robert Nayfa, Jackson Miller and Jarrett Miller, as well as two great-grandchildren, Presley and Piper Strebler.

In addition to her husband, Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Rebecca Mae Chapman, grandfather Thomas Chapman and her dear mother Opal Blakeman.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to The Mary Magdalene House, Hutchinson, or Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
