Beverly Ann Sanders' Obituary
Beverly Ann Sanders, 78, died July 29, 2008, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born March 30, 1930, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Clinton H. and Florence M. Coleman Black.
She was a 1948 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. She was a rural postal carrier, homemaker and mother. She was a Methodist. She was a member of Rural Carriers Association.
On Aug. 21, 1950, she married Sidney L. Sanders at Hutchinson. He died Nov. 19, 1990.
Survivors include: sons, Tim and wife Deb, Chapman, Sam and wife Robin, Hutchinson; daughters, Kay Johnson and husband Mike, Hays, Joni Fenton and husband Steve, Kiowa; and seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Giesler.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Todd Schlosser presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Friday, at the mortuary. Her casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the mortuary.
