Bill E. Scheve's Obituary
SPEARVILLE - Bill E. Scheve, 75, died Dec. 17, 2008, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born June 3, 1933, the son of Henry and Rose Kampling Scheve. He was a graduate of Spearville High School in 1951 and attended Dodge City Community College. He was a farmer and a stockman.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #1539 of Spearville, and the Moose Lodge of Dodge City.
On Oct. 30, 1952, he married Delores Keller in Spearville. She survives. Other survivors include: sons, Jerry and Vicky, Spearville, Greg and Audrey, Spearville, and Ed and Carol, Skiatook, Okla.; daughters, Patti and Kurt Isreal, Spearville, Carol Scheve and companion Foye Bomer, San Antonio, and Debbie and Matt Gangola, Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Henry, Gregory and Lawrence.
Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville, with Rev. Ted Stoecklein officiating. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be sent in lieu of flowers to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church AC/Htg. Fund or the Spearville Township Library in care of Elliott Mortuary.
