Jean Sallee, 89, died Dec. 2, 2014, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Hutchinson, to Arthur and Grace (Post) Blair.

She was a bookkeeper for the Stafford County Highway Department Office until her retirement. Jean married Russell M. Sallee on Sept. 26, 1944, in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 25, 2001.

Survivors include: daughter, Linda Rosas; son, Dave Sallee and wife Tawnya, all of Hutchinson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marg Hall, Valley Park, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Pleasant View Nursing Home Chapel, Inman, with Chaplain Chase Hill officiating. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant View Home, the Salvation Army, or donor's choice, all in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
