Obituary

Billy D. "Bill" Hull, 76, died Dec. 4, 2005, at Shiloh Manor, Canton.

He was born July 12, 1929, in Leon, the son of Ranner Henry and Mary Alice Hull. He attended Leon schools. A resident of Hutchinson since 1953, moving from Leon, he was retired from Republic Paperboard after 40 years.

He belonged to Westbrook Baptist Church, Loyal Order of the Moose No. 982 and the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post No. 68. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

On Feb. 4, 1951, he married Anna Irene Johnson in Piedmont. She died Sept. 27, 1991.

Survivors include: a daughter, Lynda Barr and her husband, Garry, Galva; a brother, Glenn Hull, Whitewater; four granddaughters, Tammy Peterson, Canton, Tracy Barr, McPherson, and Deanna and Becky Barr, both of Hutchinson; three great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Ray Hull; a brother, Loren Hull; and a sister Wilma White.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Harold E. Nelson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be Fairlawn Burial Park, with military graveside rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
