Bobbie Jean Adams, 89, of Hutchinson, died January 22, 2022, at her home. She was born November 17, 1932, in Winfield, to Leroy and Frances (Sigwing) Purdin.

Bobbie was an optometrist's assistant at the vision clinic in Kimball, Nebraska for many years. She loved ceramics and was very talented at making them. Bobbie also loved her two cats, L.C. and Dewey. She attended Calvary Chapel Church.

On September 18, 1948, she married Donald L. Adams. He passed away in 1988.

Bobbie is survived by: daughter Viann Adams, son, Don Adams, both of Hutchinson; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Don Adams; and two sisters, Helen and Wanita.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, in conjunction with services for her niece, Beverly Hinsdale. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
