Bobby Dean Washburn 66, of Nickerson passed away on June 16, 2019. Bobby was born on July 6, 1952, to Jerry and Clara (Obert) Washburn.

On May 21, 1971, he married the love of his life, Barbara Marie Hemphill and recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary.

In this union they had two children, Angela Marie Washburn Wells (Jim) and Michael Dean Washburn (Amy); seven grandchildren, Katlin, Cassie, Colby, Kristen, Sierra, Michaela and Mia; three great-grandchildren with one on the way. He had six wonderful sisters, Barbara, Brenda, Madeline, Adah, Willie and Loretta. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Clara; and his brother, Larry.

A Remembrance Gathering for Bobby will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 5 p.m. at the Washburn home. All family and friends are welcome. 9504 W. 82nd Ave, Nickerson, KS 67561.
