Bobbye J. Acker's Obituary
Bobbye J. Acker, 78, passed away April 2, 2015, with her loving husband of 58 years by her side at their home. She was born June 21, 1936, in Wood County, Texas, to Troy and Charla (Messimer) Robertson. Bobbye graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1954.
Bobbye worked in the accounting department at the Core Lab for 15 years.
On Aug. 3, 1956, she married Carlos Don Acker in East Point, Texas. He survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Sheree L. Wright of Mesquite, Texas, Shannon L. Boyd and husband Donnie of Kaufman, Texas; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. Family has requested a memorial service to be at a later date in Shady Grove Cemetery in Texas. Friends may sign the book from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
