Obituary

Bonifacia O. Jasso, 97, died Feb. 3, 2006, at her home, Hutchinson.

She was born May 14, 1908, in Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Isabel and Concha Delgado Olivarez. A Hutchinson resident for more than 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Altar Society, both at South Hutchinson.

She married Eluterio M. Jasso, in Jalisco, Mexico. He died Dec. 24, 1992.

Survivors include: two sons, Eusebio, and Joe, both of Hutchinson; seven daughters, Merse Juarez, Wichita; Toni Mora, Hutchinson; Petra Rodriguez, Ellsworth; Mary Gutierrez, Sand Springs, Okla.; Jane Hajj, Pottstown, Pa., Anita DelValle Legarreta, Hutchinson, and Teresa Pina, Wichita; three sisters, Tomasa Vasquez, Benita Jiminez, and Anastasia Olivarez, all of Mexico; 40 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; and 38 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Baldomero and Benito Olivarez; a sister, Nicha Aguerro; and two grandsons, Robbie DelValle and Frank Jasso.

Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with Father Ned J. Blick presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
