Bonnie Lou Schartz, 90, passed away November 2, 2022, at Thorne Care Center-Wesley Towers, Hutchinson, KS.  She was born June 3, 1932, in Russell, KS, the youngest child of eleven, to James Harbaugh and Bertha (Ringeisen) Harbaugh.

Bonnie was a 1950 graduate of Great Bend High School, Great Bend, KS.

On October 16, 1951, she married Aubrey Linus Schartz, in Ellinwood, KS.  They shared over 62 years of marriage, prior to his death on September 14, 2014.

Bonnie is survived by:  her children, Dennis (Berniece) Schartz of Enid, OK, Conan Schartz of Hutchinson, KS, Po Ellen (Larry) Anderson of Great Bend, KS, Jo Schartz of Hutchinson, KS, Glen (Debbie) Schartz of Hutchinson, KS, and Zeta (Stan) Boese of Hutchinson, KS; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband; and all ten siblings.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
