Bonnie J. Tucker, 70, passed from this life to her eternal rest, on Nov. 18, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born June 15, 1941, in Coldwater, Kan., the daughter of Glenn and Tressie Attaberry.
Bonnie retired from the Kroger Cash Offices after 33 years. She was a member of Crestview Bible Church. Bonnie married Harold D. Haas. He died May 22, 1963. She married Dennis K. Tucker on Jan. 3, 1964, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, James "J.D." Haas and wife Stephanie of Hutchinson; two sisters, Janice Swink and husband Richard of Edmond, Okla., Glennis Thompson and husband Alfred of Coldwater, Kan.; five grandchildren, Meghan Auxier and husband Phil, Jake Haas, Jordan Thompson, Ben Thompson, Bryndi Thompson and McCartney Johnson, all of Hutchinson; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Gabe and Lauren Auxier. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois Wise; and a grandson, Jacob Matthew Thompson.
Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Crestview Bible Church, 2401 N. Halstead, with Pastor Phil Auxier presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
