PARK CITY – Brandon Wesner Hornbaker, 33, died November 26, 2016, at Via Christi on St. Francis Campus in Wichita. He was born June 7, 1983, in Hutchinson, to Paul and Valerie (Ensz) Hornbaker.
Brandon graduated from Haven High School in 2002, Hutchinson Community College in 2004, and Wichita State University in 2006, with a degree in entrepreneurship. He owned his own IT consulting business. Brandon loved his pets and traveling, WSU basketball, Kansas City Chiefs football, and tracking severe weather. He was a member of Journey Mennonite Church in South Hutchinson.
On October 1, 2006, Brandon married Jill Diane Vinson in Wichita. She survives. Other survivors include: his parents, Paul and Valerie Hornbaker of Hutchinson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Susan Vinson of Hutchinson; brother-in-law Joel Vinson and wife Allison of Dighton; and grandparents, Clarence and Marjorie Ensz of Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Alice Hornbaker.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Journey@South Hutchinson, 808 S. Poplar, South Hutchinson, with Pastors Torrey Ball and Howard Wagler officiating. Private family burial will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, with the family present to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
