Brenda J."B.J." Ibach Barr, 65, died August 26, 2009 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born February 2, 1944, in Riverton, Wyoming, the daughter of Elmer Clinton and Evelyn Pearl Conley Ibach.
A Hutchinson resident since 1965 she was a machinist at Cessna. She later owned the Sportsman Bar & Grill in Hutchinson and then worked for the Fiesta Grande. She was a member of the AMVETS, Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter #1371 and belonged to the Caring and Sharing Grandparents.
She is survived by companion, Earl Robert Barr of Hutchinson, eight children, Garry Barr and wife Lynda of Galva, Kathy Wright and fiancée Otis Taylor of Hutchinson, Connie Carithers of Hutchinson, Mike Barr and wife Karen of Hutchinson, Billy Hunt and wife April of Hutchinson, Diane Thorton of Utah, LaDonna Sinnett of Hutchinson, Theresa Andsager and husband Kevin of New Mexico and numerous foster daughters, two brothers, Donald Bruce Ibach and William A. Ibach both of Hutchinson, 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister Norma Jean Parrish and a great great grandson Joseph Tipton.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the R-Bar, 1321 E 4th Ave, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book 9 to 9 Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
