Brenda J. "B.J." Ibach-Barr, 65, died Aug. 26, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 2, 1944, in Riverton, Wyo., the daughter of Elmer Clinton and Evelyn Pearl Conley Ibach.
A Hutchinson resident since 1965, she was a machinist at Cessna. She later owned the Sportsman Bar and Grill in Hutchinson and then worked for the Fiesta Grande. She was a member of the AMVETS, Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter No. 1371, and belonged to the Caring and Sharing Grandparents.
She is survived by: companion, Earl Robert Barr, Hutchinson; eight children, Garry Barr and wife Lynda, Galva, Kathy Wright and fiancée Otis Taylor, Hutchinson, Connie Carithers, Hutchinson, Mike Barr and wife, Karen, Hutchinson, Billy Hunt and wife, April, Hutchinson, Diane Thorton, Utah, LaDonna Sinnett, Hutchinson, Theresa Andsager and husband, Kevin, N.M.; numerous foster daughters; two brothers, Donald Bruce Ibach and William A. Ibach, both of Hutchinson; 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Parrish; and a great-great-grandson, Joseph Tipton.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the R-Bar, 1321 E. Fourth Ave., Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice House in care of the mortuary.
