Brian Lee Garza, 43, of Hutchinson, died February 23, 2023, as a result of a traffic accident near Haven. He was born March 31, 1979, in Satanta, to Caroline Garza.

Brian graduated from Hugoton High School in 1998 and attended HVAC trade school. He was a technician at Cheney Door Company. Brian loved being outdoors, going to the lake, and taking photos of sunsets, stars, and nature. He also enjoyed fixing things and doing home repairs, playing scratch tickets, and making people laugh. Above all, Brian loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by: his children, Trey Fink of Lawrence and Chloe Robinson of Garden City; mother, Caroline Garza of Hutchinson; companion, Cheyenne Gates of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.

Brian was preceded in death by: his brother, Marcos Garza; grandparents, Jose and Lidia Garza; uncles, Jose L. Garza, Carlos Garza, Elias Garza; and aunt, Shirley Hernandez.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Riverside Baptist Church, 1100 W. 21 ^st Ave., Hutchinson.

The family will be present to receive friends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, with the formal visitation to be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Riverside Baptist Church.
