Brian Scott Sims' Obituary
WICHITA - Brian Scott Sims, 50, died April 29, 2013, at his home in Wichita.
He was born Jan. 28, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Richard and Karen (Marsh) Sims.
Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by: parents, Richard and Karen Sims of South Hutchinson; siblings, Denise Hulse of South Hutchinson, Robin Yates and husband Timothy of Hutchinson, Kris Sims and wife Trisha of Hutchinson; children, Brian S. Sims Jr. of Winfield, and Brandi Sims of Douglas; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Warren Hett officiating. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, in care of the mortuary.
