Bruce M. Bellamy, 82, born April 26, 1933, in Evanston, Ill., passed away on April 30, 2015, at home, following a long illness. Bruce was a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Army and upon retirement, traveled the world as an international logistics specialist. A charming and multi-talented man, he was well known in theatrical circles in Hutchinson, Washington, D.C., and overseas.
A world traveler, dedicated to entertaining everyone around him with his music, humor and love of food, Bruce will be sadly missed by his four children and their families: Port Bellamy and Denise Neighbors, Jennifer Bellamy and Shannon and Shayla Bellamy, all of Hutchinson, Lisë Stewart and Ben Frevert, Luke, Lizzie, and Leo Stewart, New York, John and Susan Bellamy, Lauren and Katie, Meridian, Idaho. He is also survived by Joan Bellamy, Buhler, Paul Hamilton, Manassas, Va., and John Pearson, Los Alamos, N.M.
Cremation has taken place.
Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Bruce M. Bellamy Grandchildren's College Education Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
