Bruce Bennett, 48, died April 4, 2007, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis campus, Wichita.
He was born May 27, 1958, in Ottawa, the son of Willard T. and Barbara L. Leecy Bennett. He graduated from Nickerson High School, and attended the McPherson College auto restoration program and Friends University. A resident of Hutchinson since 1961, he had been an aircraft finisher for Cessna and Lear Jet/Bombardier Aircraft Co.
He belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include: a son, Jared, attending Wichita State University; a daughter, Melissa Bennett, attending Kansas University; his parents, Willard and Barbara, Hutchinson; and a brother, Brad, Andover.
Parish Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. andFuneral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Memorials may be sent to the Bennett Children's College Fund, in care of the funeral home.
