Bruce L. King, 55, died January 10, 2014, at Golden Plains Health Care Center. He was born August 19, 1958, in Hutchinson to Raymond and G. Elaine (Haxton) King. Bruce graduated from Nickerson High School in 1976, and was a residential trainer at TECH, Inc. for 26 years.

He is survived by: brother, Brent King and fiancee Sandy Robinson; sister, Shelli Blackburn and husband Mike; nephews, Brian King, Justin Blackburn and Brandon Blackburn; and friend and caregiver, Jill LaClair.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond King and G. Elaine Simpson-Pennick.

Cremation has taken place.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to TECH, Inc., in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, Ks 67501.
