Burl "Bud" Dean Stagner, 80, died Oct. 15, 2015, at Hutchinson Health and Rehabilita-tion. He was born April 25, 1935, in New Albany, to John B. and Lois I. (Beck) Stagner.
Bud attended Fredonia High School. He retired from Consolidated Manufacturing after 35 years. Bud enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family and anything John Deere. On Sept. 15, 1959, he married Betty Ann Barton in Wichita. She died Oct. 2, 2003.
Bud is survived by: children, Steve Stagner of Hutchinson, Beverly Ann (Stagner) Anderson and husband Matthew of Pueblo, Colo., Bonita (Stagner) Brightman of Hutchinson, Barbetta (Stagner) Callison and husband Richard of Stafford, and Scott Stagner of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Desirae Anderson, Destiny Anderson, Walter Stagner, Boteak Seiberling, Stephani Drake, Timothy Stagner, Ashlea Branton, Brittany Seiberling; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean "Betty" Isabelle and husband Bill of Washington state; and brother, Robert Stagner of Little River. Bud was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary Getting officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
