Burton Henry Fosnot, 88, died November 9, 2009 at McPherson Hospital, McPherson, Ks. He was born August 4, 1921 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of William C. and Wilhelmina Rosalaura Stork Fosnot. He graduated from Adair High School, Adair, OK in 1937. Burton was a farmer, car salesman, restaurant owner, mortgage banker and a commercial real estate agent.
On August 4, 1940 he married Myrtle Ann Ratzloff in Burlington Iowa. They were married for 65 years. She died September 9, 2005.
Survivors include; daughters, Dolores J. Mosebrook and husband Ray of Mesa, AZ, Anita Fasnaucht of San Ramon, CA, Beverly B. Jordan and husband John of Littleton, CO, Linda L. Mattison and husband Larry of New Cambria, KS, son, Brad Fosnot and wife Karen of Buhler, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, he is survived by his wife Bernice Salmon Fosnot of Hutchinson they were married for 3 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother Wilbur Fosnot.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Friday November 13th, 2009 at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Canton Cemetery, Canton, Ks. Memorials may be made to Harmony Home, McPherson in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, Ks 67501.
