C. Jo Daniel, 76, died Dec. 2, 2013, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born Sept. 16, 1937, in Wilson County, Kan., to Joseph Henry and Mildred Alice (Ransopher) Allen.

Jo graduated from Chanute High School. She retired as a retail clerk. Jo was a loving grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed listening to all types of music, reading, working on puzzles, and fishing. Jo was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by: children, Dawn Thomas and husband Dave of Great Bend, Cameron White and wife Rosa of Hutchinson, Kim White of Hutchinson, Reb White of Hutchinson; sister, Lorna Roles of Chanute; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Jo was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Reiser-Dupree.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Monday at Elliott Mortuary with family to receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
