Callie M. Drake's Obituary
Callie M. Drake 75, died Nov. 29, 2006 at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Nov. 15, 1931 in Crestview, Fla. She attended schools in Crestview, Fla. A resident of Hutchinson since 1958, moving from Crestview, she worked for Hutchinson Hospital as a surgery technician for 15 years and also at Hutchinson High School cafeteria.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was active in Golden Gloves Bingo.
In 1950 she married Earl Gann in Lynn, Ala. He died in 1957. On Dec. 23, 1961 she married Darold L. Drake in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Wayne Reid, Sacramento, Calif., Guy Gann and wife Bobbi and Dwight D. Drake all of Hutchinson; three grandsons and a great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chape, Hutchinson with Pastor Robert L. Albin presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. A private family burial will be held in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in care of the mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 6750l.
