Carl E. Flenoid Brown, 79, died Nov. 21, 2015, at Rice County Hospital. He was born March 19, 1936, in Liberal, to Rubideaux Flenoid and Mary Elizabeth Brown.

Carl was a self-employed mechanic who loved working on cars, especially classic cars. Carl enjoyed music and playing his guitar.

Survivors include: sons, David O'Neal, Antonio "Tony" O'Neal, Carlos O'Neal, Kevin Jackson, Charles Garrett and wife Shanda; daughters, Sofia O'Neal, Cheriquita Flenoid, Chanah O'Neal, Carlita Flenoid, all of Hutchinson, Elizabeth "Bebop" Douglas and husband Tristan of Japan; stepsons, Jeffrey Tipton, Troy Morris, and Brian Morris; and 24 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Reverend Charles Oliver presiding. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
