Obituary

Carl Thomas (Tom) Harris, Jr., 75, of Buhler, died July 29, 2025, at his home. Tom was born November 16, 1949, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, to Carl T. Harris, Sr. and Anna Gross.

Tom proudly served in the United States Air National Guard and was stationed at Rickenbacker Air Force Base where he worked on KC-97 stratotankers. He was a private man with a large heart who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Tom had an immense love for the music of his youth. He frequently loved to listen to his favorite artists, which were Arlo Guthrie, Harry Chapin and Janis Joplin. He passed this love of music to his grandchildren.

On December 19, 1975, he married Tina Frazier, in Newport, Kentucky. They shared 45 beautiful years of marriage before Tina's death on May 29, 2021.

Tom is survived by: his sons, Rob (Alicia) Shircliff of Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert (Victoria) Graf of Hutchinson, and Zach (Keriann) Harris of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; sister, Sharon Sanders (Michael Hart) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and grandchildren, Kailee, Max, Emma, Carly, Noah, Austin, Ellie, Allison, Zeke, and McKenzie.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m.,Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Fr. Matt Marney officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W 4th Ave., Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on August 7th.
