Carl Louie Strandberg, 78, died Dec. 4, 2014, at his home. He was born March 9, 1936, to Clifford and Kate Rayl Strandberg in Hutchinson.

He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was a farmer. On Sept. 5, 1959, Louie married Cleda Irene Head. She died May 5, 2011.

Survivors include: son, Mickey Strandberg of Hutchinson; brother, Gene Strandberg of Illinois: sister, Pattie Ellis of Oklahoma; and a son-in-law, David Spence. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jonetta Spence.

A private family graveside service will be held in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
