Carl Douglas Yoder, 57, left this earth on February 27, 2018, due to a tragic accident. He was born November 3, 1960, in Hutchinson, the son of Ivan and Polly (Miller) Yoder. He was a lifelong resident of Burrton, graduating from Burrton High School in 1978. He was a co-owner of the family business, Yoder Ornamental Concrete in Burrton. Prior to joining the business, he worked at Doskocil's in South Hutchinson.

He is survived by: his parents of Burrton; brother, Don (Doris) Yoder of Burrton; sister, Brenda (Ken) Janzen of Henderson, Nebraska; three nephews, Greg (Leah) Yoder of Glendale, CA, Jeremy (Amy) Janzen of Henderson, NE and Jason (Amy) Janzen of Dodge City; niece, Ashley (John) Goertzen of Henderson, NE; and nine great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Elliott Chapel ,with Jerry Yoder officiating. Burial will follow at the Burrton Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family to receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
