On November 21, 2013, our sweet angel, butterfly baby, Carlos "Babbas" Tharp Jaquez, was finally freed of pain and is now running the fields of Heaven. He was only here for a short time but he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had the spirit of a lion. He has no more pain, no more blisters. He now has a perfect body. He beat us all to Jesus. He will forever be in our hearts and we will be with him in Heaven.

Carlos "Babbas" Tharp Jaquez was born April 5, 1999, in Great Bend, to Melissa Jaquez and Carlos Burrola. Babbas died November 21, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by: mother, Melissa Jaquez; daddy, Marcos Jaquez, of Hutchinson; father, Carlos Burrola and wife Laticia Fierro of Lyons; brothers, Marcos Burrola, and Michael Tharp both of Hutchinson, and Isaias Burrola of Lyons; maternal grandparents, Michael and Patricia Tharp of Hutchinson; paternal grandparents, Manuela Quiroz and Philimeno Burrola of Lyons; step-paternal grandparents, Irma Jaquez, and Javier Jaquez of Hutchinson; and godparents, Joe Angel and Michelle Gonzalez of Hutchinson.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Dr. Stephen R. Phinney officiating. The casket will remain closed. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Carlos "Babbas" Tharp Jaquez Memorial Fund, in care of the mortuary.
