Carol R. Ediger's Obituary
Carol R. Ediger, 77, died April 5, 2012, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Partridge to Joseph and Caroline Durflinger Weaver.
Carol loved to draw and do artwork. She was also a member of CASA and Red Hat Society.
On Jan. 14, 1951, she married Clifford Ediger in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: children, Dennis Ediger and wife Jean of Hutchinson, Laura Ediger and Jack Mullen of Hutchinson, Rose Shelton and husband Jeff of Hutchinson, David Ediger of South Hutchinson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Deupser of San Francisco, Calif.; sister-in-law, Connie Weaver of Calhan, Colo. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred Weaver.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Eastwood Church of Christ or Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
