Carol Rexroad, 92, died April 26, 2011, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Ludington, Mich., the daughter of Lawrence A. Rohloff and Lee Schultz Rohloff. She was a Hutchinson resident since 1946. She was a longtime secretary and bookkeeper at the former Valley Federal Savings and Loan Co. She was a volunteer at the Hutchinson Hospital, the Hutchinson Public Library and the Talking Books Program. She was a member and past treasurer for the Reno County League of Women Voters.

On May 1, 1943, she married James H. Rexroad in Ann Arbor, Mich. Judge Rexroad died Jan. 30, 1992. Survivors include: a son, James "Jace" Rexroad, Jr. and wife Janet Svoboda, San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Amy Willard and husband Charlie, Louisville, Ky.; and a granddaughter, Jessica Addams, Lexington, Ky.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Offermann.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Grace Episcopal Church, Hutchinson, with The Rt. Reverend Michael P. Milliken officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will be closed. Entombment will be in the Fairlawn Mausoleum.
