Carole A. Smith, 69, died March 25, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 19, 1943, the daughter of Raymond B. and Helen M. (Schultz) Falk.

Carole graduated from Hutchinson High School and Salt City Business College. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Delos V. Smith Senior Center and the Stained Glass Guild. Carole was a housewife and had worked in the office at several places, including Bankers Investments, Sears, and AB Liquor.

On Oct. 25, 1965, she married Donald L. Smith in Alva, Okla. He died March 11, 2007.

Survivors include: a son, Bill Smith; three stepsons, Doren Smith, David Smith, Thomas Smith and wife Linda; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
