Carolyn J. Duggan, 67, died May 31, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Harry and Susie Smith Decker. She graduated from Roxbury High School in 1957, and Brown Mackie College, Salina. A resident of Hutchinson since 1962, she was a secretary for USD 308 Vo-tech, retiring in 2002.
She belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church, and St. Anne's Circle of the Altar Society.
On Sept. 4, 1961, she married John Joseph Duggan in Wichita. He died March 31, 2000.
Survivors include: two sons, Terrence M., Branson, Mo., and Timothy P., Emporia; a daughter, Janel A. Duggan, Wichita; two brothers, Jonathon H. Decker, and Earl J. Decker, both of Newton; and a sister, Jaraine M. Redger, Durham.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Merle K. Decker, and an infant sister, Norma Ruth.
Memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Tampa Cemetery, with Father Paul Oborny presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
