Carolyn Sue Kidd, 63, died February 25, 2025, surrounded by her family, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 21, 1961, at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, to Clifford Eugene "Gene" and Verna Arliene (Sitton) Rickett.

Carolyn graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was passionate about being assistant manager at a local convenience store. Carolyn enjoyed dining out, shopping, movie nights with her dog (Archie), and spending quality time with family and friends.  She cherished being a mother the most.

On January 12, 1990, she married Mario Kidd, in South Hutchinson. They shared over 31 years together, prior to his death on June 24, 2021.

Carolyn is survived by: her children, Megan (Daniel) Delzer of Bentley, Keith (Tamara) Gregg and Mark (Jessica) Gregg, both of Hutchinson; grandchildren: Cassidy Gregg, Emily Gregg, Brittany Gregg, Zoey Gregg, Kylie Gregg, Preston Delzer and Madison Delzer; great-grandson, Grayson Deberry; and brother, Greg Rickett of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Mario; and sister Sharon Wooten.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W 4th Ave., Hutchinson, with Tom Faulkner officiating. Friends may sign the book 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Visitation, with the family present, will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary.
