Carolyn Diane Reimer, 81, died on July 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 18, 1944, in Dodge City, to Buren Bailey and Louise Adair Walker.
Carolyn worked as a fabricator for Collins Bus Corporation, South Hutchinson. She enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their school events, as well as watching her son and grandson dirt track race. Carolyn liked the Dallas Cowboys. She cherished spending time with her family travelling, most recently they went to Table Rock Lake. Carolyn loved animals; especially her dogs.
On April 20, 1963, she married Thomas E. “Tommy” Reimer, in Liberal. Together they shared over 42 years of marriage; prior to his death on December 24, 2005.
Carolyn is survived by: her children, Cindy (Donald) Fraser and Jerrod (Misty) Reimer; grandchildren, Chad (Katy) Fraser, Matt (Maci) Fraser, Jayce Reimer, Kynzie Reimer, Kyndric Reimer; great grandchildren, Reece Fraser, Camden Fraser, Ramsey Fraser, all of Hutchinson; and niece, Donna Kay (Steve) Patterson of Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Tommy Reimer; sons, Tommie and Donnie; granddaughter, Kammie Lynn Fraser; and siblings, Joyce Kay and Larry.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday until the day of the service at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
