Carolyn A. Wilk's Obituary
CORONA, Calif. - Carolyn Ann Wilk, 69, died Sept. 9, 2007, at Corona Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Woodston, the daughter of John T. and Rachel Byrdene Adams Perkins. She was a former Hutchinson resident, living in California since 2001. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1955 and from Hutchinson Community College School of Nursing in 1985. She was a registered nurse working at Hutchinson Hospital when she lived here.
Survivors include: two sons, Mike, Littleton, Colo., and Larry, Marietta, Ga.; a brother, Delwin Perkins, Round Rock, Texas; two sisters, Mary Jo Trejo, Mineola, Texas, and Brenda Jensen, Hutchinson; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Delaine and Sheldon Perkins.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary D. Getting presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
