Catherine "Cathy" M. Mcgonigle's Obituary
Catherine M. "Cathy" McGonigle, 75, died May 26, 2014, at her home. She was born April 6, 1939 to Lawrence and Jean McLean Silva in Oxnard, California.
She married Charles W. "Mac" McGonigle on December 30, 1959, in Hutchinson. He died October 12, 2008. Cathy worked on the window for the Postal Service in California for 28 years, retiring in May of 2004 when they moved to Hutchinson.
Survivors include: daughters, Lynne Willhoit and husband Bill, Hutchinson, Melissa Perkins and husband Frank, Dayton, NV, sons, Charles McGonigle and wife Kristi, Catoosa, OK, Andrew McGonigle and wife Lisa, Dayton, NV, Robert McGonigle and wife Trisha, Stuttgart,Germany, and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Dick and Larry Silva.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501. Please visit www.elliottmortuary.com to leave online condolences for Cathy's family.
