Cecilia Kay 'CC' Nedeau, 54, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. She was born July 29, 1964, in Wichita, to LeRoy and Norene (Mills) Nedeau.

She was a 1983 graduate of Wichita West High School. CC formerly worked as a secretary for her daughters' school district and was most recently living with her father and working as his caregiver full time.

On May 10, 1988, she married the love of her life, Charles G. 'Chuck' Owens Jr. He passed away on June 18, 2011. CC loved to have a good time and friends, family, and karaoke were her passion.

She is survived by: daughters, Chelcee Owens (Justin Combs) of Arlington, and Caitlyn Owens (Nic Prater-Jones) of Houston, TX; her father of Wichita; siblings, Felicia Brock and husband Tim, Chris Nedeau and wife Geri, Louis Charles Nedeau, all of Wichita, and Pat Conner and husband Doug of Derby; grandchildren, Kendall Combs and Nicholas Prater-Jones; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
She was preceded in death by: her mother; sister, Tish Emmerson; and grandson, Kendrick Prater-Jones.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Elliott Chapel, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Dr. Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS.
