Cephas Ray Boman, 42, died Oct. 12, 2015. He was born Aug. 11, 1973, to David and Terry (Metcalf) Boman.
He graduated from Central Christian High School in 1991. Cephas was an Outside Operations Manager for Webcon, where he worked for 25 years. He was a loving husband, doting father and hard worker. On July 27, 2002, he married Miranda Courtney Altman in Folkston, Ga. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Austin Ortiz, Levi Boman, both of Buhler, Noah Barrow and Isaiah Boman of the home; daughters, Bethany Altman of Buhler, and Allison Boman of the home; mother, Terry Boman of Hutchinson; brothers, Brian Boman (Andrea) of Burrton, Mike Boman (Charity) of Buhler; sister, Laren Newboles (Jeff) of Hutchinson; nieces, Madeline, Emerie, Hadley, Taylor, and Harper; and a nephew, Reid. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Medora Community Bible Church, with Pastor Wayne Johnson presiding. Burial will be in the Buhler East Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cephas Boman Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
