Charlene Faye Garcia's Obituary
Charlene Faye Garcia died May 4, 2010, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Sept. 14, 1962, in Marion, to Michael R. and Frances Irene Saenz Martinez.
She attended Peabody Public Schools. She worked at HUBCO on assembly. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
On Dec. 11, 1981, she married Jose Manuel Garcia in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Rosalinda Garcia of the home; her mother, Frances I. Martinez, Peabody; brothers, David and Paul, both of Newton; sisters, Paula Harris, Rebecca Rabin and Sarah Jo Sears, all of Peabody; granddaughter, Lorena Micaela Garcia, of the home; and grandmother, Sarah Saenz, Newton.
She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Jesus Manuel "Boogie" Garcia and a daughter-in-law, Jessica R. Garcia, and a granddaughter, Aubrianna Michelle Garcia.
Parish rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe, South Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe, South Hutchinson, with Father Brian Nelson and Father Nicholas Voelker officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
