Obituary

Charles M. "Chuck" Amrine, 81, died July 11, 2007, at Hospice House.

He was born March 5, 1926, in Ft. Morgan, Colo., the son of Riley M. and Ethel L. Coffman Amrine. He was a Hutchinson resident since 1942. He was a 1944 graduate of Hutchinson High School. He was a retired owner of Midwest Supply. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly.

On Aug. 31, 1946, he married Guandola A. Van Dyne in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Ray and wife, Pat, Hutchinson and Carl and wife, Debbie, Wichita; two brothers, John H. and wife, Bea, Canon City, Colo. and Ted L. and wife, Lu, Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Frances and husband, Floyd Yoder, South Hutchinson, and Joyce and husband, John Braegger, Brigham City, Utah; six grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Curtis and wife, Katrina Amrine, Wichita, Julie and husband, Cris Humphrey, Wichita, David and wife, Laurie Amrine, Manhattan, Tasha and husband, Scott Miller, Wichita, and Travis Amrine, Troy, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Pam Amrine, Wichita.

He was preceded in death by: a son, Dan; and a brother, Robert.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Tom Dillwith presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Memorials may be sent to Full Gospel Assembly or Hospice House of Reno County, both in care of the funeral home.
