PLEVNA - Charles G. "Chuck" Owens, 55, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1955, in Syracuse, N.Y.
He married Cecilia "CC" Nedeau (Owens) on May 10, 1988.
He was a Master Plumber working in that field for 14 years. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union of America. He loved his family, his Lord, his horses and his dogs.
He is survived by: his wife, CC of the home; his two daughters that he adored, Chelcee and Caitlyn Owens, both of the home; his father-in-law; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law all of Wichita; his mother and stepfather; three sisters; a brother; several nieces and nephews and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Norene Nedeau and his sister-in-law, Tish (Nedeau) Emmerson.
Memorial service is Friday, June 24, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary in Hutchinson, with Bob Pankratz presiding. Friends may sign the book Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be made to the Owens Family Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
