Charles C. Furstenberg's Obituary
Charles C. Furstenberg, 84, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born November 13, 1921, in Castleton, the son of Ben and Myrtle Evert Furstenberg. A lifetime Castleton resident, he was a retired farmer.
He attended St. Agnes Catholic Church, Castleton and St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson.
Survivors include: a brother, Raymond, Castleton; and a sister, Dorothy Trimmell, Castleton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and a sister, Mary Bauer.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Penwell Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Father Stuart M. Smeltzer presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
