Charles Ira Lowrey, Jr., 78, passed away March 2, 2022, at Hutchinson Health and Rehab.  He was born September 16, 1943, in Hutchinson, to Charles Ira and Valida (Curry) Lowrey, Sr.

Charles worked at Don's Car Care, Hutchinson, retiring with over 25 years of service.  He enjoyed working on his restored 1953 Ford truck and watching World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

On February 14, 1975, he married Juanita West.  They shared over 47 years of marriage.

Charles is survived by:  his wife, Juanita Lowrey of Hutchinson; daughter, Adrienne Tanas of Hutchinson; grandsons, Brennen Patten and Bralen Martin, both of Hutchinson; sisters, JoAnne Cramer of Tyler, TX, Connie Walker of Lawton, OK, Betty Sanderson of Hobbs, NM, and Kay Blandin of NV; and brothers, Eddie and wife, Celeste Davis of Homestead, FL, and Jimmy Blanden of Hobbs, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022, at Full Gospel Church, 414 E. Avenue G, Hutchinson, with Pastor Betty Pinkston officiating.
