Charles V. Rucker, D.C., 66, died April 27, 2008 at the Hutchinson Hospital. He was born Nov. 10, 1941, to Viron and Charlotte Rampenthal Rucker. He graduated form Hutchinson High and Palmer Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. He worked for Rucker Chiropractic Clinic. On June 1, 1974, he married Vickie J. Beltz at Haven. She survives.

Other survivors include: mother, of Hutchinson; daughters, Darcy and Andy Koch of Rochester, Minn. Kristi and Jon Wesley of Lawrence; sister, Barbra Morris of Hutchinson.

Cremation has taken place; no services will be held. Elliot Mortuary, Hutchinson, has taken care of arrangements. Memorials to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
